A Writing Quote to Inspire You
“A writer who waits for ideal conditions under which to work will die without putting a word to paper.”
—E. B. White, quoted in On Being a Writer
Action Prompt 3
Schedule a time to write today or tomorrow.
Set a reasonable and specific goal for your scheduled time. Instead of “write that article” think “complete a first draft,” or rather than “write the introduction” think “write the first paragraph.”
Go Further: Ask yourself (and answer in your journal)—What dreams inspire me to write? How can I use them to motivate me to do the work?
The 5 action prompts in this mini-series are from
