The Golden Dress continues by associating the dressmaker with the beautiful ruby-throated hummingbird. Later in the story, more bird imagery appears at important moments related to the dress itself.

Why do you suppose the dressmaker is associated with a beautiful, graceful hummingbird? Write a story or a poem exploring why this dressmaker (or any other fictional character) might be associated with a ruby-throated hummingbird or some other kind of bird that intrigues you.
